DV-PIR2 motion sensor assembly

A PIR motion sensor for the Sprite^® media players.  The DV-PIR2 (alternative part number: MSA-B) is a panel-mounted PIR motion sensor with a black transluscent lens and a 5m. connecting lead that plugs straight into the Sprite's I/O port.

All you need to make a Sprite media player into an interactive, flexible and captivating system for advertising, museums and visitor attractions.  No wiring or programming required.  Just access the Sprite's Set Up menu with the remote control, go to Control Mode and select Trigger High without Interrupt if you want the triggered media to play through to completion, or select Trigger High with Interrupt if you want the triggered media to be interrupted. 

The DV-PIR2 is powered directly by the Sprite^® player and does not require a separate power supply.

Sensor detection range:  c. 1 to 5m. Internal adjustment for trigger sensitivity. 

Sensor field of view: c. 120 degrees horizontal, c. 90 degrees vertical.

Dimensions:  Housing: 48mmW x 48mmD x 20mmH.  Mounting slots:  15mm x 3mm @ 58mm centres.

Cable length: 5m.

Connector:  4-way 3.5mm mini-jack plug.
