NEW! The SS-38 from MedeaWiz® is an RS232 TTL serial data splitter with a single input and 8 outputs. It is designed and manufactured to enable up to 8 MedeaWiz® Sprite® 4K media players to be started and controlled from one serial data or trigger level-change source. Multiple SS-38 serial splitters may easily be daisy-chained together using standard 4-pole 3.5mm jack plug leads to enable any number of Sprite® 4K media players to be controlled from one serial data or trigger level-change source. Any RS232 TTL input and output data speed up to 115,200 baud is handled by the SS-38 without the need for reconfiguration.
The main application for the SS-38 is to enable multiple Sprite® 4K players to be synchronised for the accurate and consistent start of play and control of each player's media file or files.
The SS-38 is supplied with a single 1m. 4-pole 3.5mm jack plug to jack plug data lead. Additional leads for each Sprite® 4K to be connected to the SS-38 may be purchased separately here - Serial data leads
